Memories
Aust. Ch. Heathbrook Royal Image (Emma)

Our darling Emma in her older years. A true Golden with loads of loving for all her puppies and for all of us. Another one of those horrible decision to make, but we know she is in a better place now, playing with her mum Tess.

Best In Show, Westbury Agricultural Society 1991
Achievements:
Monty was a wonderful boy, such an important part of our family. Our first ever Best In Show winner, and a great showman. It broke our hearts to have to send him on his way to Golden Heaven when he lost his fight with cancer. He and our son Will had formed a very close bond, which he still cherishes to this day.
VALE
Aus Ch. Heathbrook Beau Bruin (Monty)
1988 – 2001
Our dear old man Monty passed away in July 2001. He had been the loyalist of friends and a true companion for all the family. He was nearly 13 and in recent years had suffered from cancer and partial blindness. Yet he had never been a burden to us. He lived his life with dignity and we could do no more than help him on his new journey with as little pain as possible. It was the hardest thing we have ever done.
From an early age, Monty quickly won the hearts of those who knew him. He was a good show dog as well as being our friend. He won Best in Show in 1991 as well as numerous other In Show and In Group Awards. Yet our greatest memories are of Monty at home. Over his last year William and Monty formed a very special friendship. They would often be found together with Will checking on Monty to make sure he was all right. Now Monty is gone, but Will and Sarah have found a new star in the evening sky. Monty’s star, shining next to the stars for Josh and Tess.
Rest well, Old Man. You deserve it.
Aust. Ch. Golbilgai Heath (Josh)
Josh was our foundation dog at Heathbrook. He was a true and loyal friend. When our daughter Sarah was born in 1990, Josh would sit next to the pram and guard her closely. A lovely boy who was taken from us too soon.
